Invimec continuous forming machines, available in North America from Straus-Artys, are designed for the production of tubes and profiles starting from strip; with or without welding; closed, open, or customized. The welding method, such as GTAW, laser, or microplasma, is integrated into the process.

The four models, covering tubes from 2.5 to 14 mm, handle a variety of materials, including precious metals, welding and brazing alloys, superconductors, special alloys, and superalloys. The cutting systems are integrated into the machine with single and multiple cut options of the strips.

Typical applications for the machines are precious metals, standard or overlapped tubes, superconductors, titanium profiles, medical, and tubes filled with solid cores or powders.

The Tube & Pipe Journal became the first magazine dedicated to serving the metal tube and pipe industry in 1990. Today, it remains the only North American publication devoted to this industry, and it has become the most trusted source of information for tube and pipe professionals.
